WHERE COMPASSION MEETS COMMITMENT

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES, NURTURING NATURE

Introducing Amalfi Foundation, a compassionate arm of Amalfi Outsourcing dedicated to making a positive impact on our community and the environment. At Amalfi Foundation, we believe in giving back, fostering community growth, and safeguarding wildlife. Our mission extends beyond business success to create a sustainable and thriving environment for all.

CHEETAH CONSERVATION

At Amalfi Foundation, our focus is on raising funds for cheetah conservation to tackle the urgent threat these extraordinary creatures face. Cheetahs, known for their remarkable speed, are at risk due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflicts, and illegal wildlife trade. Urbanisation is shrinking their natural spaces, and conflicts with humans, particularly farmers protecting livestock, pose a significant danger.

In many areas, cheetahs are already extinct due to habitat loss, prey shortage, diseases, and high cub mortality. Illegal wildlife trade worsens their situation, capturing cheetah cubs for exotic pets and causing a decline in their wild numbers. These challenges collectively make cheetahs one of the planet’s most endangered big cat species.

Recognising the urgency of the situation, Amalfi Foundation is committed to sponsoring conservation efforts. Our goal is to combat habitat loss, mitigate human-wildlife conflicts, and contribute to South African initiatives protecting these magnificent creatures. We believe that safeguarding cheetahs not only ensures their survival but also preserves the delicate balance of ecosystems and biodiversity on our planet.

MEET MOYA

We recently adopted Moya, a beautiful male cheetah. ‘Moya’ being a Zulu word for ‘wind’, probably implies the speed at which this cat can run (Run like the wind). This male cheetah can be relaxed and relatively placid when it comes to interaction with people. Moya is the more dominant brother and does not like to be reprimanded by anyone! Although the brothers have a strong bond, which they reinforce by grooming each other, Moya much prefers to spend his time alone, far from his brother Juba.

EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT AND BEYOND

TRANSFORMING LIVES AT KLAPMUTS SCHOOL IN THE WESTERN CAPE

In the heart of the Western Cape lies Klapmuts Primary and High School, an underprivileged institution. Recognising that education is the most potent tool to reshape the future, we’ve stepped in with contributions – providing essential resources such as whiteboards, desks, school books, and pens.

But it doesn’t stop there. We believe in fostering holistic development, introducing enjoyable activities for the children. From engaging in table tennis to receiving sports kits, soccer nets, and soccer balls, we aim to bring joy alongside educational support.

These combined efforts are making a tangible impact on the lives of children in the Winelands. We take pride in playing a humble yet significant role in shaping their futures.
